| Virtual Domain Hosting means that your domain will be hosted on our servers, but it will appear as if you had your own server. We will provide instructions on registering a domain name or submit a domain transfer form for your existing domain at no additional charge. You will share a IP address with other accounts.
We can provide you with a dedicated IP address for $50/year per your request.

| No, you will need to obtain your own local internet access through an ISP (Internet Service Provider). If the need be so, we can refer you to a company that upholds a great reputation for service. |

| We charge $25 to register a new domain name. This fee covers the first year of their domain name service. We currently bill at a rate of $25 for the first year and $25 for each year thereafter. You may purchase or transfer your domain on our Domain/URL Registration page. |

| Absolutely. You can use your account for commercial purposes. The World Wide Web has become the most efficient and cost-effective means of making information available to the users of the internet community. If desired, SSL data encryption / secure processing is available for our customers. SSL provides an environment whereby payment information (such as a credit card number) can be transmitted from the web browser to a web server in an encrypted mode. |

| Does 4BusinessHosting support Microsoft® FrontPage® ? |

| Yes, we fully support FrontPage2000 and FrontPage 2002 extensions on all our virtual Web hosting packages. In fact, 4BusinessHosting is the ONLY Maine based web host certified as a WPP (Web Presense Provider) by Microsoft on FrontPage Extensions and SharePoint Team Services.
When you order your package, you choose whether you want the FrontPage extensions installed on your account or not. If you already have a virtual Web hosting account and would like us to install the FrontPage extensions on your server, please, email support@4businesshosting.com.
Unlike other providers, 4BusinessHosting does NOT charge extra for FrontPage extensions. To take advantage of this feature you should take a look at our MS FrontPage support site. Note, that you must have a working copy of Microsoft FrontPage installed on your computer to take advantage of FrontPage extensions.

| Do you back up your servers ? |

| Our servers use a RAID Hard Drive System, this means that anything written to our drives get copied on the fly to backup drives, so if a drive goes bad the server keeps plugging away without any downtime. Plus we do standard tape backups. |

| Our servers are set up in such a way that no other users can access your directory tree. The only files outsiders will be able to see is what you let them (i.e. your web pages) and your Perl/CGI/PHP scripts in cgi-bin directory will be available for execution. |

| We accept following types of payment: Credit Cards, personal and company checks of any US bank, wire transfers directly to our account. | What type of CGI scripts do you support? |

| We are running Windows 2000 Advanced servers and support most of the Perl and Shell scripts including Server Side Includes (SSI). Perl scripts that end in .cgi will usually work, but if need be some can be converted by changing the file ext. to .pl and ALL .cgi references in the code to .pl. We also support .asp (Active Server Pages) scripts, these scripts are written to work with NT, and php scripts. Please also see "Acceptable Use Policy" |
